Supporting Needs of Gifted Students in Richardson ISD

Gifted and Talented Learners |
Lifelong Learning - A Lasting Journey |
To reach their potential, gifted students need support, partnerships, and advocacy from both parents and educators. Gifted children learn differently, and they require evidence-based services and interventions for healthy development, to cope with future challenges, and to learn at school.
GEAR helps parents to understand and support the needs of their students. We are proud to support and partner with Richardson ISD educators in meeting the educational needs of all gifted and talented students. |
Advanced learning differences impact students outside of school and throughout their lives. GEAR provides connections and support to help parents and students navigate educational and social-emotional needs at home, in extracurricular activities, in the community, and in preparation for higher education.
